types of planets
Did you know that the solar system
was formed about around 4.6 billion years ago? Did you know for thousands of years’
humans were unware of the solar system and believed that earth was the center
of the universe? Did you know that in 2008, there were named five dwarf
planets: Pluto, Ceres, Eris, Makemake and Haumea? There are so many amazing
facts about the solar system, and there are eight different planets in the
solar system, but Venus, Earth, and Mars will be discussed in this story.
The first planet is Venus; it is
the second planet from the sun. A day on Venus is longer than a year, on
earth. Some people don’t know that, but I couldn’t believe it myself. It is
also the second brightest natural object in the sky. Did you know the Venus is
sometimes referred to as the morning and evening star? It also called earth’s
sister planet because they are almost the same size, they weigh about the same,
they are made from the same material, and also neighboring planets.
The second planet is Earth; is
the third planet from the sun. it is between Venus and Mars. Earth is
different from all the other planet because it is the only planet in the solar
system that has a life, only planet that has all atmosphere, and only planet
that has a water on its surface.
That last planet I’m going to
take about is Mars; it is the fourth planet frim the sun. Did you know that Mars has the most dust
storms? Mars is often called the red planet. Mars is the second smallest. On
Mars only 16 out of 39 missions have been successful. Did you know that a peace
of mars has fallen on earth? Mars also has season like earth but just twice as
long. Well that sums up Venus, Earth and Mars.
All of the planets are different.
Some are really far way and very close to us and the size of them. It is interesting to know what is out in
space and how it works. There are eight different types of planet Venus, Earth
and mars was discussed in the story.
