Did you know there are several types of storms? The top three storms are Hail, Tornado, and Tsunami storms. The most common storm is the hail storm, because the rain gets cold and heavy and it falls fast down to the ground. Another reason is rain storms happen often and the rain gets cold and freezes and falls. A hail storm is the most common, because it rains mostly and hail is just like rain but its ice. Hail storms can happen during the spring, summer or fall months. Most of the time these storms appear between May and September. Cheyenne Wyoming experiences more hail storms than any other city. Cheyenne can get up to 10 storms a year.

            The second most common storm is the Tornado. Fast winds twirl super fast and they can reach up to 300mph. The tornado extends form dark thunderstorm clouds and forms a funnel shape cloud. Strong winds create tornados. Central United states happen to get the most tornados. Tornados happen all over the world in no region given. Over 1,000 tornados occur each year in the US.

            The third most common storm is the Tsunami. They can be the deadliest storm but they don’t happen often. Tsunamis happen mostly in the Pacific Ocean about 80% of the time, in the “Ring of Fire”. Tsunamis are created by an underwater earthquake, landslide, or volcanic eruptions. Two tsunamis happen per year throughout the world. Approximately every 15 years a destructive, ocean-wide tsunami occurs. A earthquake must cause significant vertical deformation of the seafloor in order to occur.

In the end i think my favorite storm would probably be the hail storm, because it doesn't cause much damage.There are many types of storms. The Tornado, Tsunami, and Hail storm are the most common.
