Cotton Bowl
The
football player getting ready to blast out of his position with even less than
a second left on the clock. The score of the game was 24-21 of the
state-championship game.
Jeff’s
father was really hard working man who owned his own cotton field in the
Lone-Stare State. Jeff grew up on that with the rest of his 2 brothers playing
football with them and always beating them with speed as soon as he heard the
word “hut.” Jeff always loved the game of football. In his high-school career,
as an offensive running back, he was always ready when it was time to carry the
football to the house. Him and his team reached the finals and the
state-championship game was to be held at the Cotton Bowl Stadium in Dallas,
Texas.
Once again,
the ball was snapped with a last chance to score. Jeff was handed the ball and
he flew out of his stance and with such fast speed, he juked a defender and saw
the open field all to himself. The crowd cheered as he entered the the red
zone. His team won the state championship with a score of 24-28.
